This website is operated by Cake Haven . Throughout the site, the terms “we”, “us” and “our” refer to Cake Haven . Cake Haven offers this website, including all information, tools and services available from this site to you, the user, conditioned upon your acceptance of all terms, conditions, policies and notices stated here.

By visiting our site and/ or purchasing something from us, you engage in our “Service” and agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions (“Terms of Service”, “Terms”), including those additional terms and conditions and policies referenced herein and/or available by hyperlink. These Terms of Service apply to all users of the site, including without limitation users who are browsers, vendors, customers, merchants, and/ or contributors of content.

Please read these Terms of Service carefully before accessing or using our website. By accessing or using any part of the site, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to all the terms and conditions of this agreement, then you may not access the website or use any services. If these Terms of Service are considered an offer, acceptance is expressly limited to these Terms of Service.

 

  • If you've booked delivery and therecipient is not home at the time of delivery, we'll leave your order in a safe place (e.g. under cover on your porch, in your carport, with a close neighbour, etc.). We don't accept any liability for the treatment or mishandling of your order once we've left it at the delivery address. If you have special instructions for delivery, or you don't want us to leave your order if you're not home, make sure you let us know.
  • As your order is fresh, edible and often bespoke, we can't accept returns. If something was wrong with your order, please contact us within 24 hours of receipt of your order and explain what happened, and we'll arrange a refund or replacement where applicable.
  • If you need to change your order, let us know as soon as you can. If your order is Bespoke, you may not be able to make changes within four days of your order date, as we may have sourced or prepared special ingredients or decorations in advance.
  • Please note that all deposits are NON-REFUNDABLE and NON-TRANSFERABLE within 7 days of the order date. If you cancel your order more than three weeks in advance we will refund 100%; less than 2 weeks but more than 1 week we will refund 50%
  • All our products are freshly baked and hand-decorated to order, so please be aware that your order may not look exactly like the pictures on our website. If there is a part of your order that is crucial and must not vary, please let us know.
  • We might want to use pictures of your beautiful order on our website or social media accounts - if you don't want us to, let us know. 
  • We can supply fresh flowers for your cake, or your florist can do so. We can liaise directly with your florist and arrange with them to supply the flowers at the venue, ready for setting up the cake. Please note that some flowers as not suitable for use on cakes. It is your responsibility to ensure that the flowers you chose are safe to come into contact with food.
  •  Whilst every care is taken to ensure your final product is exactly what you expected, sometimes due to weather, available product & time allowed, minor changes may be made. Should this happen, we will try our best to notify you in advance. By paying your deposit and agreeing to your cake, you are allowing us creative licence in creating the best looking cake we can provide for you under the circumstances. If you are unhappy with your cake please get in touch with us as soon as possible - please note that there are no refunds for change of mind, and no partial or full refunds will be issued unless the product is returned in its original state, and within 24 hours - and then at the full discretion of Cake Haven
  • We take no responsibility or liability for any damage that may occur to your order once it is in your possession. All our cakes have been constructed as soundly and securely as possible, and we will do our best to make you aware of how to make any minor fixes and/or how to transport and store it safely. Should an accident occur, we may be able to help for a fee, and depending on time availability.
  • All cakes created will be photographed on our premises and at the venue if delivering. All photos taken are the property of Cake Haven.
  • Cake Haven accepts no responsibility or liability for acts of god and unforeseen circumstances.
